Job description

Job Summary: The Manager of Training and Development works under the direction of the Sr. HR and Talent Development Manager. Responsibilities include effective coordination and delivery of employee development, skill building at all levels of the organization, and leading or assisting with the training programs of the organization. They will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and ensure the employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Additionally, they assess training effectiveness, track employee progress, and assist in continuously improving training strategies to align with the organizational goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for managing and executing the overall employee development strategy through individualized and group coaching sessions.
  2. Responsible for assisting with executing the overall training strategy to ensure the building of employee capabilities, development of leaders and retention of key talent meet K&M objectives.
  3. Responsible for managing the learning management system (LMS) or other training technology platforms to support training and development.
  4. Assist in the assigning and evaluating of individual or team results for the behavioral assessments.
  5. Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans for employees and coach the employees through a structured development plan.
  6. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees at all levels to support their professional growth, skill enhancement, and career progression.
  7. Facilitate training sessions for all levels of employees that align with our overall training strategies based on our organizational goals (Vision, Mission, Values, and Playbook).
  8. Lead and develop high performing and engaged teammates that make the customer the most important person in our business.
  9. Keep updated of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in training and development to support continuous improvement within the department and organization.
