Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading all global sales training, onboarding, capability development, and learning content strategy. This position is a strategic, influential leader responsible for shaping how we engage and win with customers. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales execution, and talent development, serving as a key partner in refining our commercial strategy, strengthening our approaches, and equipping our sales organization to perform at the highest level.
Essential Functions
  • Serve as a strategic partner and voice of the sales organization in business planning, customer strategy discussions, and decision making.
  • Translate company growth objectives into sales readiness priorities, capability roadmaps, and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Quality & Regulatory, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across customer strategy and execution.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of a global sales enablement strategy that enhances productivity, consistency, and customer engagement quality.
  • Oversee all sales onboarding, ongoing training, certification programs, and learning experiences.
  • Develop scalable content, tools, playbooks, and messaging frameworks to support every stage of the sales process.
  • Ensure field teams have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to effectively position value, differentiate our offerings, and close business.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology platforms supporting sales enablement and training.
  • Define and monitor KPIs that track sales effectiveness, conversion, and training impact.
  • Maintain and monitor team workload, performance, and quality.
  • Assess and manage direct reports' learning and development opportunities.
  • Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews with recommendations for compensation changes, promotions, and disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and retention of highly engaged and diverse employees.
  • Set a professional example in alignment with ZOLL's Leadership Qualities.
  • Execute company strategic business plans and long and short-term objectives.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Adult Education, or a related field required
  • Master's degree (MBA or similar) preferred but not required
  • Formal training or certification in sales methodologies, learning & development, or revenue operations is preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales enablement, sales leadership, commercial training, revenue operations, or related go to market roles
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic enablement programs that improve sales productivity and performance
  • Experience designing and delivering sales training, onboarding programs, and capability development initiatives
  • Proven ability to partner effectively at the executive level and influence commercial strategy
  • Experience collaborating with sales operations teams, including forecasting, CRM systems, or sales reporting
  • Experience leading cross functional teams in a matrixed or global environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of modern sales methodologies and customer engagement models.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting practices, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with sales enablement technologies, learning management systems, and content management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive level presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify performance trends, and translate insights into action.

The annual salary for this position is:
$190,000.00 to $210,000.00
This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
