Job Description:

We're looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager of Design that is responsible for leading and developing a team of Specialists to design performance-driven learning solutions. They are accountable for L&D workflow management and ensuring overall solution quality, as well as ensuring the effectiveness of training programs and updating them as necessary

What You'll Do:

  • Prioritize and organize the design and development of all leadership, operational, technical training and performance support initiatives, including Train-the-Trainer support as required
  • Oversee and/or conduct the development of tools and processes to evaluate and assess the delivery and effectiveness of all solutions
  • Contribute to the L&D Management team to leverage learning solutions, while ensuring alignment to business priorities and preventing duplication
  • Lead special projects, through subject matter experts and/or client group
  • Ensure all solutions support TJX Canada's culture, Leadership Competencies and Cultural Factors, applicable operating procedures and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate training programs for multiple levels of management, as required

About You:

  • Seven (7) years or more' experience in Learning & Development, specifically leading teams and designing management and leadership development programs, OR equivalent Human Resources experience
  • Experienced and/or certified in instructional design, facilitation and adult learning principles
  • Strong leadership skills, with focus on coaching, mentoring and active listening. Strong team orientation with focus on team success. Willing and able to support other team members
  • Strong project and time management skills, with proven ability to lead many projects and teams concurrently
  • Passion and strong belief in continuous learning
