Position Overview

The Manager, Learning Deployment is responsible for leading and managing the successful deployment of Global Learning & Development (L&D) solutions across the Learning Technology Ecosystem (LTE).

This role oversees end-to-end learning deployment activities across platforms such as Content Management Systems (CMS), Global Learning Management Systems (GLMS), virtual classroom platforms, Degreed, MTM, and other collaboration and learning technologies.


The Manager, Learning Deployment serves as a key point of contact for learning deployment initiatives, providing operational leadership, technical guidance, stakeholder consultation, and project management support. The role ensures learning solutions are deployed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established Global L&D standards and processes.


Key Responsibilities

Learning Deployment & Content Management

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment of learning solutions across LTE platforms, including CMS, GLMS, virtual classroom platforms, Degreed, MTM, and collaboration tools.
  • Oversee pre-launch, launch, and post-launch deployment activities to ensure learning solutions are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of collection sites, sub-sites, and pages used to host and organize learning content.
  • Create and manage evaluation links and coordinate reporting requirements for deployed learning solutions.
  • Serve as a key advisor on content and deployment standards, ensuring adherence to Global L&D requirements for naming conventions, tagging, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee content inventory, archiving, retirement, and annual maintenance activities.
  • Partner with ITS, Digital HR, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support platform enhancements.


Stakeholder Consultation & Engagement

  • Provide consultation and guidance to stakeholders on learning deployment processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Global L&D teams, Member Firms, ITS, C&K, Digital HR, external vendors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for deployment-related inquiries, escalations, and operational requirements.
  • Provide clear and organized onboarding and deployment guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure expectations, timelines, risks, and dependencies are clearly understood.


Project & Program Management

  • Lead large-scale and cross-functional learning deployment projects from planning through implementation and post-launch support.
  • Develop and manage deployment schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure deployment activities remain aligned with Global L&D priorities, standards, and timelines.
  • Coordinate Train-the-Facilitator (TTF), Virtual Classroom (VC), and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) deployments, including associated scheduling and logistical requirements.
  • Monitor and report on deployment progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, workflows, and coordination practices.


Platform Expertise & Technical Support

  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of LTE platforms and associated learning technologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to content developers, learning teams, facilitators, and content consumers.
  • Partner with Digital HR and ITS to coordinate testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of platform-related issues.
  • Support virtual classroom deployments, including oversight and coordination of technical producer requirements.
  • Contribute to testing and implementation activities related to new platforms, system enhancements, and deployment processes.


Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate team workload and capacity to support effective and timely completion of deployment activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members involved in learning deployment activities.
  • Chair internal team meetings and contribute to cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  • Establish clear priorities and help coordinate resources across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency, consistency, and quality of learning deployment.
  • Promote strong documentation, knowledge sharing, and standardized deployment practices across the team.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in learning deployment, learning technology, learning operations, or a related L&D function, preferably within a global and complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the deployment of learning solutions across multiple platforms and learning modalities.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), content management platforms, virtual classroom technologies, and digital learning tools.
  • Experience managing complex or cross-functional learning deployment projects.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly develop expertise across learning technology platforms.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while providing leadership and direction within a collaborative team environment.
