About the role

As a Learning & Development Lead, you will play a critical role in identifying capability gaps, designing learning strategies, and delivering impactful development solutions that support business performance across Canada. Reporting into the Area CX Excellence organization, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions to assess learning needs, create training plans, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning. This is a highly collaborative individual contributor role that relies on influence, relationship building, and stakeholder management to deliver meaningful organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify learning and capability gaps through skills assessments, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis.
  • Design and implement learning programs, development plans, and training solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Deliver and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives.
  • Create engaging training materials and learning content using various instructional design methodologies.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, surveys, and performance outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders to successfully influence learning priorities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with local and global learning teams to share best practices and enhance development opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within a learning, training, coaching, or development environment.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • At least 2 years relevant experience working within a training environment & proven instructional experience in a group business setting.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience utilizing AI-enabled learning tools or generative AI solutions is considered an advantage.
  • Exposure to logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries is preferred but not required.

Bonus:10% annual performance bonus

Salary: CAD $85,000 - $100,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
