JOB SUMMARY:

This is a highly responsible, professional position in the Operational Procedures and Training Unit, within the Child Support Program, and reports to the Revenue Program Administrator for the Training team. This position serves as a team lead for the design, development, and publishing of instructor-led and computer-based training, aligning with the Program's strategic goals and operational plans. This position also serves as the Program's Learning Management System (LMS) administrator. The team member in this position provides quality assurance and constructive feedback of team members' work, is skilled in proofreading and editing, plans, organizes, and coordinates workshops, facilitates meetings, mentors, guides, and trains team members in support of their performance and professional development. The team member must use critical thinking skills and be proficient in time management and problem-solving techniques to ensure projects and tasks meet established timeframes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of experience designing and developing Instructor-led and Computer-based training using an e-Learning authoring tool.
  • Two years of experience providing quality assurance of documents and providing feedback to others in a professional setting.
  • Two years of experience proofreading professional documents for accuracy, grammar, spelling, formatting, and logical content flow.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders, subject matter experts and other partners.
  • Two years of experience mentoring and providing training, guidance and instruction to others.

PREFERENCES:

  • A degree or certification in Instructional Design or Education.
  • Experience working in a Learning Management System.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached,
  • An alternative screening criteria matrix will be used to determine which candidates will be selected for interviews.
  • A work sample will be administered at the time of interview.

SALARY: $53,917.08 - $72,570.36 / annually
