Who We Are Looking For: 
Phoenix Tailings is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to support strategic growth initiatives across financing, transactions, and investor engagement. This role is ideal for someone coming from investment banking or a Big 4 advisory background who wants to move closer to execution and long-term value creation. You will work directly with senior leadership on high-impact projects that shape Phoenix's capital strategy, partnerships, and expansion as we scale clean metals production. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support corporate development initiatives including financings, strategic partnerships, M&A transactions and International Expansion efforts 
  • Coordinate cross-company initiatives and teams to execute complex and strategic projects 
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities and capital decisions 
  • Conduct market, industry, and company analysis to support growth and investment theses 
  • Prepare executive- and investor-facing materials including board decks, fundraising presentations, and strategic analyses 
  • Support investor relations activities, including data requests, performance tracking, and ongoing communications 
  • Assist with due diligence processes, coordinating internal data and external advisors 
  • Track and analyze key business and financial metrics to inform leadership decision-making 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in investment banking, Big 4 transaction advisory, deal execution, or related strategic finance environments.  
  • Hands-on experience supporting transactions, including M&A, capital raises, or strategic investments 
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills 
  • Experience preparing high-quality presentations for executives, boards, and investors 
  • Exposure to investor relations, fundraising processes, or capital markets communications 
  • Attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly 
  • Interest in infrastructure, clean technology, or industrial businesses 
  • Project Management experience  
Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary + discretionary bonus for this role. Total package  may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Pay Range: $130,000- $200,000 total cash compensation plus equity
