A lot of leadership development roles are built around delivering on a training plan. This one is built around changing how leadership actually shows up in the business.
At Metro Credit Union, we're looking for a Leadership Development Manager who wants to build, experiment, influence, and make a visible difference. You'll partner directly with the VP of Learning & Talent to strengthen manager effectiveness, improve engagement, elevate talent conversations, and create practical solutions that help leaders get better at the moments that matter.

What You'll Do
Lead Manager & Leadership Capability
  • Strengthen expectations for effective people leadership across the organization
  • Design practical leadership and manager development experiences tied to measurable outcomes
  • Build scalable tools, coaching support, and reinforcement strategies that help managers succeed

Drive Talent & Engagement Outcome
  • Lead engagement survey administration, interpretation, and manager action planning
  • Help managers improve coaching, feedback, development, and performance conversations
  • Translate employee feedback, performance trends, and talent data into actionable recommendations

Scale Impact Through Data & AI
  • Use data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities related to manager effectiveness
  • Experiment with AI tools, agents, simulations, and other emerging approaches to make leadership development more practical, scalable, and engaging
  • Measure leadership development effectiveness and connect efforts to meaningful outcomes

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 7+ years of experience in leadership development, talent development, organizational development, manager effectiveness, or a related field
  • Experience working directly with leaders and managers at multiple levels
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, consulting, and influence skills
  • Ability to translate data and insights into practical action

Preferred
  • Experience with employee engagement surveys, talent review, succession planning, or performance management enablement
  • Experience with talent platforms such as Lattice
  • Comfort experimenting with AI tools, agents, simulations, and practical use cases that improve learning, coaching, or organizational effectiveness

Work Arrangement
  • Standard schedule: three days on-site, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and two days remote.

Compensation Disclosure
  • $105,000 - $135,000
