Job description

Overview
JOB DUTIES:
 
Under the direction of the Department Director, the LCSW Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing LCSW and administrative supervision (e.g.: client oversight, case consultation, timecard approval, productivity reports) and support for any mental health service providers in the Dept. of Brain Wellness Program. The LCSW Supervisor position is an integral part of the management team and successfully collaborates with colleagues to ensure overall program and agency effectiveness. The LCSW Supervisor is accountable for ensuring delivery of exceptional services that are focused on the client needs while also upholding UF Health Jacksonville and the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling standards. The LCSW Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring accurate billing and documentation. The LCSW Supervisor is responsible for improving the overall program and using LCSW and administrative knowledge to improve the way services are delivered and documented.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Provide clinical social work services to assigned clinics. Possesses exceptional general social work knowledge, in areas of cognitive behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing, trauma/crisis mgmt. and teaching skills. This includes psychosocial services required for this patient care population.
 
Provide ongoing individual supervision of therapists, as assigned/ Recruit and train program staff.
 
Provide didactic training and group supervision as assigned.
 
Recruit and train program staff
 
Oversee the delivery of quality LCSW services and compliance with agency policy. Assist in the development of program policies and procedures to ensure agency compliance with funding sources.
 
Ensure that client service hour expectations are met for direct report supervision.
 
Ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate, and paperwork deadlines are met.
 
Participate in supervisor’s meetings, staff meet agency-wide meetings, utilization review meetings, in-service training, morale, and team-building events.
 
Comply with agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
 
Comply with applicable professional licensing requirements and ethical standards including maintaining required supervision CE hours. Perform other duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

5 years LCSW Experience required
2 years Supervisory Experience preferred
2 years Integrated Family Practice collaborative mental health preferred

Masters Social Work – Required
 
Certifications/Licensure
 
Licensed Clinical Social Worker required at time of hire
Social Work - State of Florida (DPR) required at time of hire
