Job description

We are seeking a full-time LCSW Supervisor for our In Home Therapy & Therapeutic Mentoring programs. This position is located in West Springfield, serving children and families across Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Worcester Counties. Are you looking for a unique opportunity for advancement in leadership? This position would award you experience in supervising Bachelors-level Therapeutic Training & Support Workers (TT&S) and Therapeutic Mentors (TMs) while supporting your progress toward achieving independent licensure. Offering a $3,000 sign on bonus!
Within your role as an LCSW Supervisor, you will:
  • Provide administrative supervision and consultation to Bachelor's level staff (Therapeutic Training & Support Workers, and Therapeutic Mentors).
  • Ensure program compliance with documentation and other clinically related licensing requirements.
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other clinicians, state agencies, DCF, schools, foster parents and other referral agencies.
  • Provide annual evaluations of work performance, establishing employee goals and monitoring progress with other clinical supervisors and director, develop and coordinate in-service training to address common needs of the program staff and interns. Supervise student interns as determined by director.
  • Maintain a small caseload of clients in order to continue your clinical hours required toward independent licensure, as determined by Program Director. Receive clinical supervision from LICSW Program Director toward said independent license (LICSW).

Qualifications:
  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and established LCSW in Massachusetts.
  • Leadership experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with children and families preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Approved driving record check and criminal background check (CORI)

CHD's care continuum across the lifespan includes residential, crisis stabilization, substance use and clinic based services; medical care is an essential component given the heightened vulnerability of the people we serve. Harm-reduction is our first approach to all care.
Understanding of evidence-based practices including MI, DBT and CBT/TF-CBT will support success in coaching staff and clients towards the right level of treatment and commitment to career long learning is an essential feature of CHD team members.
