Landscape Operations Manager
Southern Cut is seeking a Landscape Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our landscape and hardscape installation and maintenance operations. As our Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing crews, scheduling projects, ensuring quality standards, coordinating materials, and maintaining client relationships.

What Will I Be Doing?
  • Create detailed work plans for landscape and hardscape projects, including plant selection, material procurement, and labor allocation, based on seasonal needs and client requirements.
  • Lead and supervise landscape and hardscape crews, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper training on equipment and safety protocols.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, address concerns, provide updates on project progress, and ensure client satisfaction with the quality of work.
  • Track project costs, managing expenses related to materials, labor, and equipment to stay within budget constraints.
  • Regularly inspect ongoing projects and completed work to ensure adherence to company standards and client specifications.
  • Oversee routine landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigation management, and winterization procedures.
  • Manage the upkeep of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor lighting systems.
  • Maintain and coordinate the proper use and upkeep of all landscaping equipment, including trucks, mowers, trimmers, and power tools.
  • Enforce safety regulations on work sites, ensuring employees are properly trained and equipped to work safely.
  • Identify training needs for crew members and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Familiarity with different hardscape materials, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures.
  • Effective communication, ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational abilities to plan, schedule, and execute projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client relationships
