Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in site civil and land development to join our Denver office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, experience preparing construction documents, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and reviewing agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare site civil design for land development projects, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements

Develop construction documents, technical exhibits, and design calculations

Assist with hydrology and hydraulic analyses, stormwater reports, and permitting submittals

Coordinate with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and project managers

Support entitlement and permitting efforts with local jurisdictions and reviewing agencies

Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimates

Participate in project meetings and assist with responding to agency review comments

Apply applicable local, state, and federal codes and design standards

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

2-5 years of experience in site civil / land development design

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; PE licensure a plus

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology/ Hydraulic equal software, WaterCAD, HydroCAD, Excel, etc.

Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design

Familiarity with local jurisdictional standards and permitting processes (Colorado Front Range experience a plus)

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
