About the Role:
Superintendent will be the primary leader responsible for the daily execution of building projects. Superintendent will manage the hands on operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
² Site Management: Oversee all daily on-site activities and manage the workflow of laborers, subcontractors, and vendors.
² Scheduling & Timeline: Create and maintain "lookahead" schedules (e.g., 3-week outlooks) to coordinate trade sequencing and prevent bottlenecks.
² Safety Enforcement: Implement and monitor company and OSHA safety programs,
² Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to ensure work meets project blueprints, building codes, and quality standards.
² Communication: Serve as the central hub for information between field crews, Inspectors and customers.
² Punch List & Closeout: Manage the completion of deficiencies and final walk-throughs to ensure a smooth project handover.
Qualifications:
² Experience: Typically 5-10+ years in underground dry utility work specifically SoCal Edison, LADWP, Burbank Water and Power.
² Deep excavations and shoring, traffic control. Extensive field experience.
² Required Skills
² Leadership: Ability to motivate diverse teams and maintain authority while fostering a collaborative environment.
² Problem-Solving: Critical thinking to resolve unexpected issues in real time.
² Organization: Excellent time management to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
