Job description

The HR Workforce Development/ERP Division intends to fill up to three (3) positions in the classification of Management Analyst. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Implement Workday business process changes by defining requirements with subject matter experts, division administrative staff, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with technical employees to communicate requirements, identify solutions, and test updates in Workday testing tenants to ensure updates meet requirements. Conduct administrative analysis to ensure the process complies with applicable requirements such as the city charter, civil service rules, MOUs, administrative manual and other governing documents.
• Deliver training, demos, and other presentations to LADWP employees on how to complete HR administrative processes in Workday including Hires, Transfers, Benefit Enrollment, Leaves of Absences, Job Changes, Terminations, and other processes. Meet with division administrative staff, business process owners, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and make recommendations on how to improve administrative processes.
Create, review and update job aids, process documentation, and training materials that outline LADWP policy requirements and explain how to use Workday to accomplish administrative tasks.
• Review data including training completion, error reports, and other data to make recommendations for process improvements.
• Provide administrative support to HR ERP in areas including, but not limited to budget, contract, and personnel administration.
• Perform other related tasks and duties.
