Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated construction laborers to work in Lebanon, IN. The primary role involves installing fences and wattles to prevent erosion. This position requires manual driving of posts using a pneumatic post driver, attaching fences to steel T-posts, and ensuring fences are properly installed in trenches created by a silt fence plow. Laborers are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the fences and cleaning them with shovels as sediment accumulates. Heavy equipment operators will handle larger tasks, so laborers will not operate heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain fences and wattles to prevent erosion.
  • Manually drive posts using a pneumatic post driver.
  • Ensure proper installation of fences in trenches.
  • Clean sediment from fences using shovels.
  • Maintain a high level of communication and awareness on a busy construction site.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in civil construction and general labor.
