Position Summary
Join our team!
We are hiring temporary Maintenance Laborers in the Utilities Department.
Season runs from May 1st through October 31st. Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain buildings and grounds: including mowing, removing weeds, clearing brush, cleaning, and removing trash.
  • Operate riding/power mowers, trimmers, weed-trimmer, rakes, and various piece of equipment.
  • Must be 18 years of age to work in rights-of-way.

While temporary employees do receive all legally mandated benefits, they are ineligible for all of the City's non-mandated benefits.
