Product Manager – Labels

The Product Manager position iis a key role in the Ti Americas organization, supporting the Labels Business

Team to drive profitable business growth in line with the Ti global labels business strategy. The Product Manager develop segment strategies and provides cross-

functional leadership to improve the value of the label film portfolio target market


The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong technical knowledge and capability, ideally combined with business and marketing acumen.


Communication and interpersonal skills will be utilized to coordinate with all functions including R&D, applications engineering, planning, manufacturing, marketing, sales, finance, purchasing and most importantly with customers and the market.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Ti functional groups to align with the Americas Labels business strategy.
  • Define and manage a differentiated product portfolio.
  • Algin and integrate activities between the Ti functional groups to ensure that customer and market needs are identified, understood and serviced with best value propositions.
  • Drive product development activities with R&D teams, global product teams, manufacturing, applications engineering and planning.
  • Drive new product & market development initiatives.
  • competitive analysis.
  • Support Sales with differentiated product value propositions, training and product positioning.
  • Support Marketing Communications with critical market messaging as well as technical data for product literature.
  • Oversee product specifications ensuring fitness for make and market fitness for use.
  • Support product Stewardship in coordination with regulatory and quality teams.
  • Coordinate with Quality to Assur product complaints investigations and issues are completed to determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Requirements:

Minimum college education of a bachelor’s degree. An Engineering Degree (mechanical, chemical, packaging) is preferred.

  • 2 plus years’ experience in product management, technical sales/service, or market development.
  • Knowledge of wrapping around labels is ideal.
  • Strong preference for experience in BOPP films and labels converting applications.
  • Manufacturing experience is also valued.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize market information and recommend actions.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to interface effectively with all levels of management at both the plant and corporate levels.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Effectively manage priorities.
  • Operate in a multicultural international business environment.

  • 30% travel availability (Mostly domestic and some international).
