Your Role: Sr. Marketing Operations Associate - Project Management and Governance
As the Marketing Operations Associate - Project Management and Governance, you will be a pivotal member of the Customer Experience team, ensuring our marketing content is effective and meets the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. In this role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end project management of our promotional material review process across both Pet Health and Farm Animal business units. You will also lead special projects related to regulated marketing art and label management. A core focus will be driving the evolution and optimization of our material review process, leveraging technology to continuously streamline our governance framework, and supporting the progression of the Content Transformation project at Elanco. As a foundational team member on the promotional material team, you shape our content's future and directly impact the success of our Content Transformation deliverables. You will partner closely with Technical, Legal, Regulatory, IT, and Marketing to uphold Elanco's commitment to quality and integrity, making a significant impact on how we communicate with our customers.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Promotional Material Review Process Ownership: Own and manage the end-to-end project management of Technical, Legal, and Regulatory (TLR) review process for all promotional materials, ensuring its health, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Governance & Stakeholder Engagement: Enforce TLR submission standards, manage all key communications with stakeholders, and co-lead weekly Marketing Operations Connects to drive alignment on process enhancements.
  • Driving Content Transformation Goals: Actively contribute to the Content Transformation project's success by streamlining the TLR review process to reduce cycle times, enhancing content quality and consistency to decrease rework, and championing content reusability initiatives to optimize our content ecosystem.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Monitor process performance, establish key metrics, and report on the health of the review process to leadership, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Project Leadership: Lead strategic projects related to regulated marketing art and label management, including ownership of the central label repository (elancolabels.com) and coordinating packaging changes. Ensuring labels in art management system (BLUE/GLAMS) are loaded in correct access areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Creative Services, Regulatory, Legal, Supply chain) to ensure successful execution and compliance of these projects.
  • Contractor & Workflow Oversight: Provide direction and oversight to a contract team executing the day-to-day tactical operations of the promotional material review process, including material routing, quality control checks, lifecycle management, system user support, and metrics reporting.
  • Audit Readiness & Support: Ensure the promotional material review process is consistently audit-ready and serve as a subject matter expert by attending and participating in audit meetings as required.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, process design, or compliance within a regulated environment (e.g., animal health, pharma, biotech, medical device, or healthcare).
