Summary:
The Quality Laboratory Intern will assist the Quality Laboratory Technician with receipt, prepping, analysis, and computer entry of return fabric samples.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the QA Lab Technician with the receipt, prepping, analysis, and computer entry for return fabric samples.
  • Assist the QA Lab Technician with competitor fabric analysis.
  • Assist the QA Lab Technician with receipt, prepping, analysis, and computer entry for new fabric samples.
  • Assist the QA Lab Technician with data entry into JD Edwards.
  • Assist the QA Manager as required with various QA and HSE tasks.

Key Competencies:
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to focus in a repetitive environment.
  • Willing to learn and accept feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Bend and cut fabric, including working on knees as needed.
  • Work with chemicals following safety guidelines.
  • Use microscopes to check materials and quality.

Education and Experience:
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (data entry).
  • Must be organized.
  • No prior laboratory experience required.
