Our client is a well-established organization that supports product research, development, and testing activities across multiple consumer-focused categories. They are seeking a Lab Associate to assist with analytical samples preparation work and sample evaluation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$21/hr
Position Overview
The Lab Associate will be responsible for purification tasks in relation to R&D activities. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quick learning abilities. Please note that this position is a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
Responsibilities Of The Lab Associate
  • Prepare and purify samples for testing.
  • Conduct bench experiments related to material characterization.
  • Accurately document experimental data both manually and digitally.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor and team to review results and prioritize tasks.
  • Operate lab instruments safely, adhering to protocols and safety standards.
Required Experience/Skills For The Lab Associate
  • Detail-oriented and quick to learn new procedures.
  • Solid understanding of chemistry principles, lab operations, and safety practices.
  • Experience with common lab equipment such as fume hoods, balances, centrifuges, and separatory funnels.
