LyondellBasell's Cincinnati Technology Center is seeking a laboratory associate for the polymer physical testing laboratory. This position will perform physical testing, interpret data, and document results. The Lab Associate will participate in teams to achieve department goals.

A Day in the Life

Work safely and participate in activities to improve the safety performance of the site.

Perform polymer testing, analyze data, and document results.

Become a subject matter expert in performing assigned tests.

Support researchers to solve complex characterization problems.

Maintain instruments in good working condition and perform routine calibrations.

You Bring This Value

Required: associate degree in applied science, chemistry, or a related technical field.

Experience with lab techniques and/ or polymer physical testing, R&D experience is desirable.

High initiative individual, focused on providing high quality laboratory data in an efficient manner, while exhibiting excellent workplace skills.

Solid background in Microsoft Office and computer-based instrument control systems for lab equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
