Job description

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join our team as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise—while enjoying the excitement of a new location. Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.


What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist (required).
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-acuity hospital Cath Lab setting, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required. NIHSS preferred for RN applicants.
  • State licensure as required by role (WI license required for RTR candidates).
  • Experience with procedures such as diagnostic LHC/RHC, STEMI/NSTEMI management, CTO, valvuloplasty, atherectomy, staged PCI, IABP and Impella support preferred.
  • Experience with EP/Hybrid cases, TAVR, Watchman, and peripheral interventions preferred but not required.
  • For RTR candidates: proficiency in scrubbing and panning, and familiarity with imaging systems such as GE C-arms, Volcano, and hemodynamic systems (GE Pruka/Maclab).
  • For RN candidates: competence in conscious sedation and titration/management of drips.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift pattern: Day/Mids rotation with occasional weekend shifts.
  • Shift requirements: Traveler will work varying 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including combinations to meet weekly requirements.
  • Call: Required as needed for the department.
  • Patient ratio: 1:1 for procedural cases.
  • Environment: Fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab performing 24–40 cases per day; adults only.
