About the role We are currently seeking a Line Mechanic Foreman to lead a crew of Line Mechanics and Trainee Line Mechanics in the execution of installation, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution lines (Overhead and Underground) and associated equipment to deliver assigned tasks within budget, to quality requirements and with no safety incidents. This position reports to the Construction Supervisor and is based at our Puketona Depot. About you To succeed in this role, you will hold a current EWRB practising licence as a registered Line Mechanic, along with a minimum of three years' industry experience. You must hold a full NZ Driver's Licence and HT, with extensive experience using EPVs, truck mounted cranes and other plant for line construction/maintenance tasks. A thorough understanding of line construction methods, both underground and overhead, is essential. As is an in-depth knowledge of electricity principles and being a competent user of test equipment for fault finding and commissioning.
