KMC is seeking a 2nd Shift Packager
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare orders for freight, express or parcel post shipments in accordance with shipping requirements
  • Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, etc. to properly identify materials
  • Maintain records and prepare shipping documents
  • Verify quantity & quality of material
  • Wrapping and banding of pallets
  • Computer data entry
  • Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct rules and other regulations
  • Maintains a safe & clean work environment & departmental housekeeping standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Highly motivated self starter
  • Good math skills
  • Basic reading & writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Strong customer focus & friendly attitude
  • Ability to function well in a team environment
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime when required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Exposure to noise
  • Temperature variances, occasionally required to work outdoors, regardless of weather conditions
  • Exposed to fumes, airborne particles
  • Regularly works near moving mechanical
  • Frequently required to lift or move 11-20 lbs., occasionally lifting or moving 21-40 lbs.
