Job description

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervision and training of shop personnel to include the manufacture and quality control of all equipment, parts orders, work orders and equipment process implementation. This position reports to the Plant General Manager.
Qualifications

  • Good general math and trigonometry
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing routing forms
  • Good hands-on mechanical ability
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with metal fabrication
  • Hands-on working knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Three- Five years minimum supervisory experience

  • Promote excellence throughout the department
  • Responsible and accountable for shop organization, cleanliness, and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing facility
  • Supervise activities of manufacturing to obtain optimum productivity and accuracy
