Our success is built on teamwork, integrity, and craftsmanship. As a Quality Control Inspector, youโ€™ll play a vital role in ensuring each home meets KITโ€™s high standards for safety, workmanship, and HUD compliance before it leaves the production line.

Position Overview
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for verifying that all homes are built to company and HUD standards, identifying non-conformances, and working with production teams to ensure timely and accurate corrections. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where consistency and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections throughout all stages of the production process to ensure compliance with HUD, SAA, and KIT quality standards.
  • Document inspection results, report non-conformances, and verify corrective actions are completed.
  • Support HUD and SAA audits by maintaining accurate inspection records and reports.
  • Work closely with production teams, foremen, and the QC Manager to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members to promote continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Assist with training new employees in quality expectations and inspection standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in quality control, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
  • Experience in modular, manufactured, or residential homebuilding.
  • Familiarity with HUD code and inspection procedures.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
