Job description

No matter who you are or how you interact with us at BBJ La Tavola, we want you to be always awestruck. As a Key Account Executive (KAE) with BBJ La Tavola, you are the lead between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. You will manage and develop client accounts to initiate new business and maintain favorable relationships with clients.

This position offers a base salary and multiple commission structures. Employees with a demonstrated history of high performance and dedication have the opportunity for career development and advancement within sales and leadership.

In this role, youโ€™ll accomplish:
  • Meet and/or exceed performance goals set by leadership
  • Be the primary point of contact and build longโ€‘term relationships with customers
  • Develop design mood boards for clients upon request
  • Help customers through email, phone, and in person meetings
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to upper management
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a dayโ€‘toโ€‘day basis
  • Monitor and analyze customerโ€™s usage of our product
  • Responsible for developing existing client relationships while being able to generate referrals from current client base
  • Travel to key clients within assigned territory to execute faceโ€‘toโ€‘face meetings
A good fit is someone who has:
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record at account management and achieving sales metrics year over year
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and Cโ€‘level
  • Experience in delivering clientโ€‘focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Selfโ€‘motivated and able to thrive in a resultsโ€‘driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problemโ€‘solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Available to travel to see clients every 6โ€‘8 weeks
