Job Summary

The Global Data Center Account Director owns the commercial relationship and growth plan for a strategic data center client. This role requires deep expertise in data center infrastructure and mission critical facilities, combined with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and deliver customized solutions that meet clients' evolving needs. The individual in this role will anticipate client needs across regions and drive outperformance on key performance indicators within the contract while working in close partnership with regional operations and delivery leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a global data center client, managing relationships at executive levels

  • Understand client's technology roadmaps, digital transformation initiatives, cloud strategies and infrastructure requirements to position appropriate solutions

  • Maintain a technical literacy sufficient to engage in detailed conversation about power, cooling, compliance and sustainability in data centers

  • Develop and execute account plans that align with corporate growth objectives and revenue targets while ensuring relevance to the applicable client's needs

  • Navigate a highly matrixed environment to ensure local and cultural relevance while driving global performance and growth

  • Coordinate with internal colleagues across technical and support functions to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction throughout the development life cycle

  • Effectively influence without direct authority to mobilize resources and drive collaborative outcomes

  • Build high performing teams who overdeliver on client commitments, including contractual SLAs and uptime

  • Track industry developments to anticipate client needs and leverage JLL's SMEs to support them proactively

Job Requirements

  • Seasoned leader with 10+ years of facilities management or engineering experience in the real estate industry; data center or critical environments preferred

  • Experience in, or managing a portfolio consisting of, critical environments

  • Extensive experience hiring, training, and retaining large teams of talent in a client service environment; outsourced experience preferred

  • Has maintained successful relationships with executive decision makers

  • Proven ability to work across cultures and time zones in a global business

  • Proactively managed a budget in excess of multiple millions of dollars

The estimated total comp for this role is $350,000K annually.

Estimated compensation for this position:

350,000.00 - 350,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
