Job Summary
Strategists in our department know how to create impactful, integrated, and measurable strategic platforms. They're thought leaders who find the best approach to clearly present qualitative and quantitative data that drives innovation. They uncover cultural insights that surface meaningful opportunities for brands which solve human problems as much as they solve business problems. They create detailed, yet simple presentations that tell stories and provide recommendations that contribute to the strategic direction of client work.
The Junior Strategist is an explorer, brings a desire to learn and fresh thinking into the agency. This role aids in the development of brand narratives, gathering and synthesizing information to help build creative briefs. The Junior Strategist acts as a sounding board that represents the brief and the consumer and feeds stimulus into the creative process.
Job Responsibilities
  • Become a keen 'fact' hunter canvassing internal and client documents and external sources
  • Review and help synthesize learnings from research
  • Own research inputs including competitive analysis, consumer research, stakeholder interviews
  • Act as a curator of culture and keep the teams abreast of new ideas and experiences
  • Assist in the development of quantitative and qualitative research
  • Write trend reports, research summaries and task briefs
  • Work with Senior Strategists to write creative briefs
  • Assist with new business efforts

Basic Qualifications
  • 2 months+ of experience in related field (can be related study/internship)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
  • Experience understanding brands and their target audiences
  • Experience working in or with a creative agency
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Hungry to learn, resourceful nature and comfortable jumping quickly into projects with limited direction
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to solve for new processes and client/team needs
  • Incredibly organized, with keen attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint
