Our client is a corporate communications company known for delivering creative solutions in a fast-paced environment. They are currently looking to add a Junior Graphic Designer to their team. The company supports diverse projects that foster professional growth and skill development. They value collaboration and innovation within their Creative teams.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer on an ongoing contract basis to work on a hybrid model (onsite Tues & Thurs) to support the creative team on various projects and tasks. This temporary role offers the potential to transition to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a willingness to learn, and flexibility to assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities Of The Junior Graphic Designer
  • Design and update name badges, tent cards, signage, and other event materials.
  • Prepare artwork and files for print production.
  • Make updates and revisions to existing designs.
  • Assist with logos and basic branding projects.
  • Research and source imagery through Shutterstock and other resources.
  • Organize and manage creative files using Google Drive and Docs.
  • Support senior designers with day-to-day project needs.
  • Learn and follow the OFTS process and workflow (training provided).
Required Experience/Skills For The Junior Graphic Designer
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Comfortable using Google Docs and Google Drive.
  • Understanding of basic design principles.
  • Some knowledge of print versus screen resolutions and preparing files for different formats.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to take direction and ask questions.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The Junior Graphic Designer
  • Experience in a fast-paced creative or corporate communications environment.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management and file organization.
  • Basic knowledge of branding and logo design principles.
