Junior Programmer TSIT

Systems Resource Management, Inc

Job Description:

The junior programmer utilizes algorithmic thinking to design, develop, and test Training Systems Implementation Team (TSIT) products. The selected candidate will support the testing of eLearning courses, helping to ensure that all features function correctly and perform reliably within a Learning Management System (LMS) environment. The junior programmer will primarily be responsible for conducting test requirements such as SCORM conformance, cmi5 acceptance, and HTML validation to ensure products meet all technical requirements. Additionally, the junior programmer will evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to improve computer-based training.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test and develop TSIT Interactive Multimedia Instruction
  • Test and develop courses developed using digital twins
  • Collaborate with others to create TSIT products
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure consistency across all materials to set standards of appearance, content and style
  • Research and remain current on emerging tools, trends and platforms to develop strategies and best practices for potential implementation company wide

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work effectively, manage expectations, and interact with internal customers at all levels within the organization

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Associates degree in computer science (minimum)
  • Ability to possess a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience in SCORM 2004 3rd and/or 4th edition standards and conformance test suite software
  • Experience in cmi5 specification and conformance test suite software
  • Experience with digital twins
  • Experience in HTML, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Python and XML
  • Experience in Adobe Captivate and Creative Cloud applications
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
