Job description

The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst applying advanced mathematical modeling, optimization, and analytics to support COMFRC decision-making and readiness initiatives, while providing onsite project management. This candidate will also serve as the contract's onsite project management lead.

Location: Onsite at NAS Patuxent River, MD
Hours: 0800 to 1630, Monday - Friday. Some supported government offices start as early as 0600/0630 and end as late as 1800, Monday - Friday
Clearance: Ability to successfully obtain a NACI
Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Employment Type: Full-Time
Client: U.S. Navy, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC)

This role is pending contract award

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and apply mathematical modeling, simulation, optimization, and statistical methods
  • Develop decision-support models, simulations, and analytical products
  • Analyze operational, maintenance, logistics, and cost data
  • Develop optimal time, cost, and logistics networks for program evaluation
  • Serve as SME for mission-critical and high-visibility initiatives
  • Provide onsite project management (task coordination, schedules, risk, deliverables)
  • Act as primary technical interface with Government leadership
  • Oversee work of journeyman and junior staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience producing accurate meeting minutes, governance documentation, and formal reports.
  • Strong writing, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to work onsite at NAS PAX River, MD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DOD, Navy COMFRC headquarters components.
  • Secret Clearance
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
