Junior Interpreters are entry-level professionals who facilitate communication between people speaking different languages, often under the supervision of more experienced interpreters. They typically work in settings like hospitals, schools, legal environments, or community organizations, assisting with real-time spoken or signed language translation. Junior Interpreters may also help with written translations and support the preparation of materials for interpretation sessions. Their role is essential for ensuring mutual understanding and effective communication across language barriers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a junior interpreter, and why are they important?
