Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial electrical switching equipment, selling their products to major OEMs, contractors, integrators, and distributors in the energy, electric utility infrastructure, and industrial markets.

They are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of new product innovations. This person will be instrumental in the company’s continued growth because their designs will drive future innovations brought to market. In addition to the design work, this person will also be the technical resource and mentor to the junior engineers, making it a great role for anyone seeking experience in training and developing newer talent. This position will report to the Director of Engineering.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or another engineering-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic design
  • Understanding of low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Knowledge of electrical standards: NEMA, UL, IEC, and IEEE
