Junior Engineer / Engineer IPhased n Research, LLC (PnR) is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer / Engineer I to join our growing engineering team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who is eager to develop technical expertise while contributing to meaningful engineering projects supporting defense and government customers.The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and technical leaders to support the design, development, integration, analysis, testing, and evaluation of complex engineering systems. PnR provides an environment where junior engineers can gain hands-on experience, strengthen their technical skills, and grow into increasingly responsible engineering roles.ResponsibilitiesSupport engineering analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and documentation activities.Assist senior engineers with technical tasks associated with ongoing programs and research efforts.Perform data collection, analysis, modeling, simulation, or testing based on program requirements.Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, presentations, and engineering artifacts.Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project discussions.Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineers, software developers, analysts, program managers, and customers.Learn and apply engineering tools, processes, standards, and best practices.Support laboratory, field, or test activities as required.Complete assigned work in accordance with project schedules, technical requirements, and quality standards.Perform other engineering duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.0–2 years of relevant professional engineering experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Fundamental understanding of engineering principles within the candidate's area of study.Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, engineering tools, and technical concepts.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by assigned programs.Preferred QualificationsPrevious internship, co-op, undergraduate research, laboratory, or hands-on engineering project experience.Exposure to one or more of the following areas:RF and radar systemsModeling and simulationSystems engineeringSignal processingSoftware developmentHardware/software integrationTest and evaluationData analysisExperience with technical tools or programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Git, or similar engineering environments.Familiarity with Department of Defense programs or engineering environments is a plus.Active or previously held security clearance is a plus but not required.Education & ExperienceEngineer I / Junior LevelBachelor's degree in an engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline with approximately 0–2 years of relevant experience.
