Junior Cloud Engineer
Remote

Changeis, Inc. is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to support enterprise IT shared services operations within a cabinet-level federal agency environment. This entry-level role focuses on day-to-day cloud infrastructure management and incident resolution within a federal Common Operating Environment.

The ideal candidate brings foundational cloud computing knowledge and a willingness to grow within a fast-paced federal IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise shared services on a day-to-day basis

  • Resolve incident tickets related to cloud services in accordance with SLA requirements

  • Monitor cloud resource utilization and report anomalies to senior engineers

  • Provide technical solutions to problems of basic scope and complexity involving one or two factors

  • Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources per established procedures

  • Document incident resolutions and contribute to the team knowledge base

Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

  • Basic cloud computing skills in at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL fundamentals)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
