Managed Cloud Delivery (MCD) Intern

Position Title: Managed Cloud Delivery Intern
Reporting to: VP, Managed Cloud Delivery
Position Summary

The Managed Cloud Delivery Intern will support the delivery and ongoing management of cloud-based solutions across client environments. This role provides hands-on exposure to cloud operations, infrastructure support, service delivery processes, and client engagement. The intern will work closely with cloud engineers and delivery teams to assist in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud environments while gaining foundational experience in platforms such as AWS, Azure, and related tools. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in cloud engineering or managed services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring cloud environments to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Support incident management and service request processes, including tracking, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Help maintain and update cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
  • Partner with delivery teams to support deployment activities and environment configurations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic cloud and infrastructure issues under guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to documentation of processes, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support security and compliance efforts, including access reviews and audit preparation tasks.
  • Assist in tracking service delivery metrics and generating operational reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for additional cloud delivery projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in cloud computing, infrastructure, or managed services
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic networking concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
