Entry Level Cloud Services Analyst
Job Summary
The DevOps Support Analyst position is responsible for supporting and implementing the elements of software engineering/programming and protocols under the direction of a mentor.
A great collaborator, curious, and a fast learner with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Support the implementation of user/customer-facing applications. This role enhances the technical agility of a variety of Club product lines.
Job Duties
  • Support the development of advanced software applications, and learn design skills. Build on at least one platform which includes but not limited to Object Oriented languages (e.g., Java), Procedural languages (e.g., Cobol), Declarative Languages (e.g., SQL), or Scripting languages (e.g., Python or JavaScript). Communicate regularly and write clean code. Review, analyze and resolve application issues as needed.
  • Become a multi-skilled team member able to contribute to a variety of tasks including requirements analysis, coding using Test Driven Development techniques and paired-programing, and regression testing. Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms. Consult with other team members and implements solutions in line with the departments' visions.
  • Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies and methodologies to increase business and member value. Take direction from mentors to increase skills and competence, thereby improving the department's contribution to the Business and the Members.
  • Actively participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, iteration, and retrospectives) and peer reviews.
  • Position requires a self-starter who is an independent thinker with strong problem solving skills, who can work collaboratively to derive solutions that have broad team support.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Computer and Information Science
  • 1 year IT support Preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to a paired-programming environment.
  • Strong team member who inspires, innovates, and delivers results to add values and make a difference.
  • Knowledge of TDD/BDD is required.
  • User-centric /customer-centric focused, embrace Agile XP practice, and possess a learning mindset.
  • Constant monitoring and learning of new technologies and the market landscape.

Travel Requirements
  • Occasional travel to off-site business meetings or conferences. (5% proficiency)

The starting pay range for this position is:
$33.43 - $44.53
