Rare Beauty is Hiring a Junior Brand Copywriter (Los Angeles/hybrid)

We are looking for a culturally curious copywriter who knows how to make beauty feel personal. This role will bring Rare Beauty’s voice to life across digital and retail environments, turning product benefits and big ideas into compelling stories. Equal parts creative thinker and meticulous wordsmith, you will collaborate across teams to create work that feels inclusive, purposeful, and distinctly Rare.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years writing to a brand voice

A portfolio of work showing examples of published copy

Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills

Familiarity with AP style

Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with a data- and insight-driven approach to copy

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage digital copy with a focus on clear and differentiated product messaging, campaign concepting and storytelling

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop fresh messaging strategies and on-brief copy for digital, retail and social campaigns

In collaboration with DTC team, use performance metrics and latest consumer/competitor/industry insights to inform content and copy strategy

Keep a pulse on digital and industry trends and identify engaging ways to bring the brand to life

Partner closely with design team and to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and spearhead integrated visual/copy solutions when needed

Coordinate the review, feedback and revision loops with key stakeholders

Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions while keeping a strong attention to detail

Deliver clean copy while demonstrating a strong understanding of brand voice and house style
