They typically support senior accounting staff by reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and performing audits of financial information. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or those with limited experience and provides valuable exposure to various accounting functions. In a professional setting, there is a greater emphasis on accuracy, real-time collaboration with cross-functional teams, and understanding company-specific processes rather than textbook scenarios.
