Position Summary

As the Recruiting Specialist, you will support the hiring needs for our John Deere dealerships attracting, sourcing, and hiring quality talent across a variety of positions. You will build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, educational institutions, and community partners while managing the recruiting process from talent attraction through onboarding. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-directed, and committed to providing exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand and support workforce needs across locations. 
  • Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through recruiting platforms, networking, referrals, events, and other talent acquisition channels. 
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including requisition creation, candidate screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, educational institutions, instructors, counselors, and community partners to strengthen talent pipelines. 
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, classroom presentations, and community outreach activities, including travel as required. 
  • Coordinate and support recruiting initiatives such as internship programs, student employment opportunities, job-shadowing experiences, and facility tours. 
  • Promote the employer brand by educating candidates about career opportunities, company culture, and growth pathways within Kibble Equipment and John Deere dealerships.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience by maintaining clear communication and setting expectations throughout the recruiting process. 
  • Independently manage recruiting priorities, leverage available resources, and proactively seek guidance when needed to achieve hiring goals. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and programs, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement efforts. 
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures. 
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver quality results. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to candidates, students, hiring managers, and community stakeholders. 
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with candidates, hiring managers, educational partners, and community stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office. 
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally within approximately a 4-hour driving radius to support recruiting events, school visits, and dealership partnerships, with occasional overnight travel (generally fewer than 10 nights per year). 
  • Experience or interest in mentoring high school and college-aged students in career selection. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience in recruiting, agriculture, workforce development, or relationship management.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid position. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting, relationship management, or customer-facing experience. 
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); SuccessFactors by SAP preferred. 
  • Experience with campus recruiting, internship programs, scholarship programs, or workforce development initiatives. 
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and methodologies such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Boolean Search. 
  • Strong relationship management, influence, and communication skills with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners. 
  • Ability to support recruiting team projects. 
  • Agriculture industry experience, or experience in ag communications, education, workforce development, or relationship-based roles with an interest in supporting and promoting the agriculture and equipment industry.

Compensation

The following represents Kibble Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a salary role with a starting base of $65,000 and going up to $80,000 based on experience. This role is also incentive eligible and is based on performance.
