Job Summary:
Encode, Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft, is looking for a Lead or Senior DevOps Developer to join their team. The role involves applying modern DevOps practices to streamline integration and test activities, while working on advanced technology national security missions for U.S. government customers.
Responsibilities:
• Apply modern DevOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activities
• Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources
• Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability
• Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
• Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability
• Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience with deploying, securing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)
• Experience in DevOps cloud system design
• Experience with scripting, particularly in shell scripting in sh and csh variants, Bash, Python, and PERL
• Experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
• Must be willing and able to travel occasionally to support customer needs
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated CI/FS polygraph
Preferred:
• 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with VMware Virtual Machines and Hypervisor
• Experience with PKI certificates and Security protocols
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Windows 10+
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification
