Position Summary

The JIRA Administrator supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by configuring, managing, and optimizing JIRA as the primary ticketing system for Work Order tracking and workflow automation. This role ensures collaboration, workflow automation, and real-time visibility into the status of deliverables across all program work orders.

Job Description

  • The JIRA Administrator is responsible for deploying and configuring JIRA as the centralized ticketing system for tracking task assignments, deliverables, and performance metrics across all work orders.
  • The position requires integrating JIRA with other collaboration tools ensuring seamless data sharing and automated status updates.
  • Administrators will configure JIRA workflows, manage issue tracking systems, and integrate with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
  • The role includes submitting the JIRA System Implementation & Integration Report detailing system setup, integrations, and usage efficiency, and maintaining 99% uptime for JIRA services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in JIRA administration.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Configuring JIRA workflows and managing issue tracking systems.
  • Integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
  • Implementing Agile methodologies and dashboard customization.
  • Service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Workflow development, permission management, and automation.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in JIRA administration, workflow development, and permission management.
  • Working knowledge of integrations with DevOps tools (GitLab, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and dashboard customization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support issue resolution and system performance enhancements.

Education
