Job description

Senior Analyst Accounts Payable

Location: Orlando, FL, US, 32827 Req ID: 57866 Category: Finance

Position Summary: The Senior Analyst Accounts Payable leads day-to-day payables operations to ensure accurate, timely payments to business partners while maintaining strong internal controls. This role oversees invoice and payment processing, business partner onboarding, supports monthly close activities, and serves as subject matter expert for assigned AP systems. The Senior Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders and shared services to drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for accounts payable processes, controls, and systems, including testing, updates, and reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues; manage exceptions and escalate risks as appropriate
  • Support third-party shared services through guidance, issue resolution, and training
  • Maintain and monitor internal controls and compliance with company policies
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and provide reports and analyses to Finance leadership and business partners
  • Collaborate with Financial Accounting and International Tax on cross-functional initiatives and projects
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager, Financial Accounting in a variety of other projects and ad hoc requests
  • Work closely with all General Managers and Business Partners on ad hoc requests

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Three (3) years of previous payables experience
  • One (1) year leadership experience
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal
  • Present during core business hours but hours may increase based on fluctuating workloads
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of accruals and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Spanish, written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • System, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP), InvoiceWorks, TRAX experience
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to external and internal business partners

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
