Job Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for applying GAAP standards to financial information and preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements. This role primarily focuses on healthcare revenue cycle accounting, requiring a deep understanding of gross revenue, contractual discounts, denials, and bad debt. Additionally, this position may be responsible for designing financial models and implementing special projects. Supervisory Responsibilities: (scope of the person’s authority, including a list of jobs that report to this job). Supervisory experience necessary Essential Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience. CPA a plus. Required Knowledge: Understanding of GAAP. Knowledge of computer and Internet applications, accounting systems. Understanding of budget and reporting requirements. Experience Required: Strong emphasis on experience in healthcare revenue. AI experience with Claude for Excel or similar preferred Skill and Ability: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Attention to detail and solid organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Office suite of products. Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel. Great Plains and FRX experience preferred. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity. Clearances/Background: Must be able to successfully pass an extensive background check as required for grantors.
