Job description

FDRsafety is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Specialist to support a short-term 2-3 month project in Ripley, Tennessee. This role will focus on the review, development, and digitization of Job Safety Analyses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with site safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety documentation, hazard analysis, and data entry within safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Revise and update current JSAs to align with best practices and applicable safety standards.
  • Develop new JSAs for job tasks where documentation is incomplete or outdated.
  • Input and maintain all JSA documentation within the client’s designated safety management software system.
  • Ensure consistency and standardization across approximately 400 JSAs.
  • Collaborate with site personnel, supervisors, and safety teams to gather necessary job task and hazard information.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely completion of all assigned JSAs within project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing and reviewing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) or similar safety documentation.
  • Strong understanding of occupational safety principles, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience working with safety management systems or JSA software platforms preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
