Pizza Cook - Cece's Kitchen
Cece's Roland Park is seeking a talented Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs in a polished Italian restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, extensive knowledge of dough production and fermentation, and experience working with high-temperature pizza ovens. From mixing and maintaining house-made dough to producing well-crafted pizzas during service, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Prepare, mix, ferment, portion, and maintain pizza dough according to established recipes and specifications.

  • Monitor dough hydration, fermentation schedules, proofing, and quality control procedures.

  • Stretch, top, and bake pizzas while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards.

  • Prepare sauces, proteins, vegetables, and additional ingredients required for daily service.

  • Ensure proper product rotation, storage, and inventory management practices.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with company and health department standards.

Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing dough from scratch.

  • Experience working with a Forno oven or comparable high-temperature pizza oven.

  • Thorough understanding of dough fermentation, hydration, proofing, and baking techniques.
