Job description

D’Angelo Italian Market & Catering is a beloved family-owned Italian deli and full-service catering operation in Princeton, NJ. We’re growing our catering business and looking for an organized, people-loving Catering Coordinator to help us bring memorable events to life — from intimate family gatherings to large corporate affairs.


What You’ll Do


• Serve as the primary point of contact for catering inquiries, bookings, and client communication

• Build and manage catering orders from initial inquiry through delivery or service

• Coordinate with the kitchen team on menus, quantities, prep timelines, and allergen requirements

• Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, and invoices

• Manage event logistics including staffing, delivery, and setup as needed

• Maintain and grow client relationships to drive repeat business

• Keep catering calendars, files, and records organized and up to date


What You’ll Bring


• Experience in catering, event coordination, or hospitality (preferred)

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Warm, professional communication style — in person, by phone, and by email

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, family-run environment
