Description

The IT Technical Support Specialist supports general IT efforts, including system admin, hardware setup, communications, and special projects. The IT Technical Support Specialist reports to the IT Director.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


A. Handles system admin tasks as assigned to ensure proper security, controls, and access.

B. Helps with data maintenance efforts to support reporting efforts.

C. Resolves and assists with IT Help Desk support needs and requests.

D. Assists with the full life cycle of Bailey's hardware and device program, including the set up and ongoing maintenance of tablets, computers, phones, and other devices, as well as software updates.

E. Supports communications efforts, including call routing, email notifications, etc.

F. Assists efforts around automation to make Bailey as efficient and productive as possible.

G. Troubleshoots issues with computers, tablets, phone systems, and other devices.

H. Handles other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

The individual in this position should be responsible, proactive, personable, a problem solver, reliable, a team player, ethical, intelligent, a leader, and able to adapt to the forces around him/her-customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers, and manufacturer's employees.


Education/Training/Experience:

  • College Degree
  • 1+ years experience in IT Help Desk support, computer maintenance, and/or system admin
  • Windows Entra and Exchange experience a plus

Skills Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer/employee relations skills
  • Strong leadership, management, and sales skills
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong knowledge of the computer systems in use in the dealership
  • Willingness to learn new technology
