Description
TRISTAR is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer II to support the software development and system administration of the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO) in support of the Azurite Program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain mission software.
  • Develop software primarily in C++ and Python.
  • Support software integration, debugging, verification, and production hardening activities.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions, implementation planning, and technical design reviews.
  • Submit software changes through the established version control and merge request process.
  • Participate in daily task planning and Agile software development activities.
  • Collaborate with Systems, DSP, and RF engineers to develop integrated mission capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
  • Ability to develop and maintain software using C++, Python and/or JavaScript.
  • Able to work within a Git-based software development workflow.
  • Ability to develop and debug software in Linux and Windows development environments.
  • Ability to integrate software across multiple subsystems and to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
