How do IT Programmer Analysts typically balance coding responsibilities with requirements gathering and user support?

IT Programmer Analysts often split their time between developing and maintaining software solutions, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and providing end-user support. This balance can be challenging, especially when urgent user issues arise alongside project deadlines.
