Job Summary:
Evident Microscopy is a company that delivers optical technology for scientific discovery through advanced microscopy solutions. They are seeking a Senior IT Manager for Master Data Management to lead enterprise-wide master data initiatives and ensure alignment with global business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Data Governance Council, driving executive alignment on data ownership, standards, and governance decisions.
• Prioritize enterprise MDM initiatives across IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations based on business value, risk, and resources.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, ownership conflicts, and execution challenges.
• Lead end-to-end MDM initiatives, including SAP MDM implementations, data migration, cleansing, governance, and MDG deployments, with accountability for scope, budget, and timelines.
• Define business requirements for SAP master data (material, customer, vendor, finance) and ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
• Oversee data quality, governance, and migration activities across SAP ECC and S/4HANA while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business value and build organizational alignment.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of business analysts, data stewards, SAP functional leads, and external partners.
• Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution throughout UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of IT project/program management experience, including 5+ years leading complex MDM initiatives in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in SAP master data (material, customer, vendor, finance) with the ability to challenge technical teams and guide business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, prioritization frameworks, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of SAP and enterprise application management experience.
• Leadership experience within manufacturing or Order-to-Cash environments is strongly preferred.
